What Will An Online Database Do?

It can contain one or more of the following formats, which will help you locate articles:

Full text Full text  In many cases a database will also contain or will link to the complete text of the article.
Citation Citation  Although the database may not always contain the article itself, it typically provides the citation, i.e. the information you need to find a specific article.
Abstract Abstract  It usually includes an abstract, which is a summary of the article's content.
