Finis Bentley - Table of Contents

Finis Bentley (1880?-1947)

Scope and Content

The Bentley Collection covers a number of aspects of Finis Bentley's life in Pocatello, but no one aspect in depth. Instead, the user will find bits of information on a variety of topics. Bentley's real estate legal work is adequately represented. The material relating to WW II Selective Service board work is primarily limited to circulars and bulletins from the state or national offices rather than the local workings of the board. The folders containing information on Bentley's work with a variety of organizations and temples are tantalizing but, unfortunately, lacking in substance. Still, the Bentley Collection has the potential to be of use for scholars in conjunction with other sources.
