MC055

Scope and Content

This small collection was donated to ISU by the Kasiska Family Foundation in 1999. The collection consists of three manuscript boxes.

In 1990-1991 the Kasiska Family Foundation made the largest private donation ever made to Idaho State University. The contribution of $661,074 was made to the ISU health sciences programs.

The collection is focused on the Kasiska family real estate holdings, mostly in Pocatello but also their sheep ranch in Dempsey Creek.

Also contained in the collection are scrapbooks that date back from 1910 to 1970. The scrapbooks offer a personal view of the dynamic Kasiska women.

The collection also features some brief histories on W.F. Kasiska and his two daughters, Eva and Mabel.
