The Oelwein Family Collection was received in 1966 from the Bannock County Historical Society in Pocatello, Idaho. It is a very small collection consisting of five legal sized folders.

The majority of the collection is a group of documents, letters, student newspapers and other items focused on education during the 1920's. The collection is centered on Alva Holmberg Oelwein. Among the collection are items that relate to the family business which was the People's Market.

The collection materials are from 1914 to 1963.
