Scope and Content
This is a relatively small collection (4 boxes) donated by Duane A. Bybee, collected during his years employed by the railroad.
Two boxes are focused on the Oregon Short Line Railroad and its construction through the Fort Hall Indian Reservation.
The third box contains material on the Boise Cut-Off or Citizen's Right of Way that was constructed in 1975. This box also includes site plans for the construction of the Convention Center in Boise.
The material in the fourth box is oversized and is stored rolled. It is a collection of site maps that have been authenticated by the National Archives and Records Service detailing construction of the railroad through Nevada, Utah, and Idaho continuing through the Fort Hall Indian Reservation.
