Collection Inventory
The Bistlines’ were very active within their community & were heavily influential in the history of Pocatello, ID. In addition to having accomplished their higher educations, Beverly, along with her parents F. M. & Anne, kept busy by being involved in numerous clubs & organizations, and were politicians, entrepreneurs, lawyers, & world travelers.
The Beverly Bistline Collection contains many personal letters, photographs, invitations, programs, greeting cards, planners, genealogical information, news clippings, and awards that make tribute to the family.
KEY
Throughout the collection initials or other abbreviations have been used. The following should help clarify what is being described:
- A.G.B. in the collection is in reference to Beverly’s mother, Anne Glindermann Bistline
- B.B.B. is short for Beverly Barbara Bistline
- F.M.B. is a reference to Beverly’s father, Francis Marion Bistline, who went by F.M.
- P.E.O., as in the P.E.O. Sisterhood, is an international Philanthropic Educational Organization for women, which Beverly was a member
