Jump to: navigation, search

[edit] Description:

If the Idaho Health Sciences Library (IHSL) and Oboler Libraries do not own a requested item, IHSL staff obtain photocopies (journal articles, book chapters) or arrange loans (books, government documents, etc.) from other libraries. These items are emailed, mailed, or faxed to you after the IHSL receives them or you may visit the IHSL to pick up . To request items, visit the IHSL, email us, or contact us by telephone or fax. You also may request journal article photocopies via the Loansome Doc ordering feature available in PubMed; contact Marcia Francis for more information and registration codes.

Photocopying is subject to the restrictions of the United States Copyright Law (Title 17, U.S. Code). Copyright fees per item (when applicable) are set by the publisher of each item, can vary widely ($.50 to $250.00 or more per article), and are paid to the Copyright Clearance Center. IHSL staff may refuse to accept a photocopy request if they feel the photocopying would violate copyright law.
